Surgance helps formerly incarcerated reassimilate

Surgance has entered into a partnership with former Major League Baseball great Otis Nixon and his Foundation’s On-Track Transitional Center. The center offers recently incarcerated individuals and their families a holistic, safe and structured environment for restoration and successful reassimilation.

The two organizations will put on a golf tournament to benefit the work on Monday, October 4 at the prestigious Marietta Country Club in Marietta, GA. Dozens of current and former athletes are scheduled to appear and play with sponsors including Deion Sanders, Brian Jordan, Fred McGriff, Dominique Wilkins and many others.

The festivities “tee off” the evening before at 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 3 at the Lenox Square Grill at 3393 Peachtree Road in Atlanta. Sponsors and guests will be able to enjoy time mingling with the celebrities participating in the benefit and take part in a terrific auction to benefit the charities. Twelve signed jerseys from greats like Willie Mays, Joe Montana, Derek Jeter and others will be up for grabs.

For more information on the event, auction or to sign up as a sponsor please call Surgance VP of Marketing Todd Armstrong at 615.480.8405 or email him at Todd.Armstrong@Surgance.com.
