Do you remember the anticipation of Christmas morning you felt as a child? I can. I remember trying to stay up all night, listening for every possible “sound” that could possibly be Santa before drifting off thinking of what I might receive the following morning. Now, I have the same anticipation only it is focused on seeing how my little boys will react when they see what Santa brings them and what Mommy and Daddy have gotten them to play with. The excitement and joy on their little faces is priceless as anyone with small children or grandchildren surely knows.

I love this time of year! There is so much to be thankful for and so much to anticipate in the coming days and in the new year.

As I reflect over the past year, I am grateful for all that has been accomplished in bettering the lives of individuals, families and communities across America and around the world through the generosity of your gifts and volunteer time with Surgance.
