How Far is Heaven?
Grammy award winning rockers Los Lonely Boys have donated several unique experiences to benefit the charitable work of Surgance, including a once in a lifetime opportunity to design a tour t-shirt!
Los Lonely Boys is a Chicano rock power trio from San Angelo, Texas. They play a style of music they call “Texican Rock n’ Roll,” combining elements of rock and roll, Texas blues, brown eyed soul, country, and Tejano.
The group’s first single, “Heaven“, reached No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary chart, and No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100, also crossing over even to the Hot Country Songs chart, where it peaked at No. 46. “Heaven” was featured in Guitar Hero: On Tour. In 2005 the song won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.
iCarly Supports Surgance
Miranda Cosgrove, star of the hit Nickelodeon show iCarly, donated tickets and a meet and greet for her concert on July 22, 2011 in Philadelphia which was auctioned off to benefit Surgance.
The winning bidder received two tickets to the concert PLUS got to go back stage to meet her and join her for her sound check prior to the show!
The proceeds from this item benefitted the good work of Surgance all over the country. Surgance partner charityBUZZ handled the auction and it was a success.
